Elementary

Elementary ministry is for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. We provide Sunday School from 9:45 - 10:45am each Sunday, and Children's Chapel during the 11:00am services. Elementary classes and Children’s Church are in the Dawson Building on the 2nd floor. The Elementary ministry is also part of the 1st Kids Ministry which includes ages 0-6th grade.

recent events

First Responders were honored at our annual Birthday Party for Jesus. One of our favorite FUMC First Responders was our guest reader for the morning, Steve Prator. Many thanks to him for taking the time to share a sweet book with the children about a small hero with a big heart. The children enjoyed crafts, games, snacks, music, and a birthday celebration for Jesus. 

Christmas Eve was celebrated in a special way in the Preschool area. Mitzi Nix came at 6:00pm and shared a Godly Play Christmas lesson with the 3’s and 4’s. These preschoolers had their very own delightful candlelight service on Christmas Eve.
