I am a proud native of Magnolia, Arkansas, and have made my home in Shreveport for the last 23 years. I’ve been a member at First Methodist in Shreveport since 2010 and on staff as a Children’s Director since 2014.  I am a graduate of Louisiana Tech University where I met my husband of 25 years, Jeff.  I have two children, Olivia (21) and Reed (18). I began working in children’s ministry when my children were small and quickly found that it was a true blessing and calling in my life.  

My goal is to play a supporting role to parents and provide activities and programming at church that will reaffirm the lessons being taught at home. Together we can instill in each child the love for Jesus. Together we can pray that they will always know how loved they are. Together we can help them begin a lifelong relationship with Him in which no fear or trial can shake them.
