2. TRANSFORMING IN CHRIST

(Justifying Grace)

Creating Foundational Beliefs

You are here  (Transforming in Christ) if you:

  1. Have recently placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior
  2. Have recently been confirmed/baptized
  3. Are exploring what it means to follow Jesus
  4. Have begun to participate in the life of the church

Transforming in Christ It begins with justification, accepting God’s offer of a relationship by grace through faith in Jesus and inviting Him to be the Lord of our life through the power of the Holy Spirit.  We experience God’s forgiveness and grace upon repentance and begin a new life in Christ by faith.  At this time, a profession of faith is made as instructed in Romans 10:9-10.  “If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
