I grew up in Sulphur, LA and then attended college at LA Tech in Ruston.  While I was there I grew tremendously in my faith and came to understand that I had a call on my life to lead others to meet and follow Jesus.  This calling took me off to Asbury Seminary in Kentucky where I pursued a Masters in Counseling.  After moving back to Louisiana and becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) I headed back towards my calling in ministry. 

I’m still discerning where God is leading me (like most of us) but I’ve found that I am most driven to proclaim the good news of life with Jesus and to meet with people through counseling to walk through the difficult areas of life.  In both of these callings I strive to live in the land of genuineness and meaning.  To this day one of my favorite things is sitting down with someone and hearing their story.  

In 2016 I married my favorite person, Katie Doctor (now Rasmussen) and then in 2018 we had our little girl Daisy (my other favorite person).  God is continually teaching me of his grace, love, truth and freedom and I am forever captivated by His story.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me for anything you might need pastoral or personal.
