I grew up in Perry, Georgia, a small city in the middle of the state. I have been married to my wife, Jennifer, since 2006, and we have four children: Match, Junia, Merritt, and Maverick. I enjoy spending time with my family and with friends. And I also enjoy listening to music, reading, and watching a good show or movie.
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a business degree in 2004, and then from Mercer Law School in 2007. After practicing law for nearly eleven years in my hometown, God called my family and I to move to Kentucky so that I could attend Asbury Theological Seminary. In 2022, I obtained a Masters of Divinity and began working at First Methodist Church of Shreveport as an associate pastor. An elder in the Global Methodist Church, I am the lead pastor of FaithLink, the contemporary worship service at FMC Shreveport. I also direct the Leadership and Business Ministry for the church.
I fully believe that God has His eyes on this church and on the city of Shreveport, and that God’s hand is going to move mightily in this city.
