Mandy is a native of Denham Springs, Louisiana. After graduating from Denham Springs High School, she received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Louisiana State University. She furthered her education completing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2006 from University of Louisiana Monroe and a post-graduate residency in Pharmacy Practice in 2007 from LSU Health-Shreveport. She began her pharmacy career as an Assistant Professor at University of Louisiana Monroe and enjoyed the next 10 years there, finishing her academic career as an Associate Professor specializing in nephrology. After leaving academia, Mandy served as Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at Ochsner LSU until answering the call to serve at First Beginnings.

In 2011, Mandy was married to Aaron Storer and they have been blessed with 3 lovely children: Asher, Abram and Audrey Storer. When Asher was 3, Mandy felt a divine calling to serve in education, specifically to grow opportunities for special needs children. After a long season of prayerfully waiting on God’s timing, she accepted the role of Director of First Beginnings in 2021.
