The mission of the Leadership Institute at First Methodist Church Shreveport is equip and encourage Christians for leadership in the community.

We believe part of our calling is to invest in men and women for strong Godly leadership within our community. Within our spheres of influence, we can help shape a culture of kingdom values, blessing others, and servant leadership. As each person grows in leadership, we add value to our families, organizations, and community. We hope to partner with you in growing as leaders.

Strong Christian leaders will make business decisions with integrity, wisdom, and a focus on God’s larger vision for the renewal of our community. We are committed to building up Christians regardless of church or denominational affiliation. Our leadership growth opportunities are externally focused, continually reaching out to the community.
