First Methodist Church of Shreveport has been a vital part of my entire life.  It has been at this church that I was baptized as an infant, graduated from high school as a leader in the youth program, met my wife, Laura, and served on the staff.  Over the years, the many wonderful people of this church have had such a positive impact on me and my family.  Through it all, God has been involved at every step.

I graduated from LSU-BR with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 1979 and LSU-S with a Masters of Business Administration in 1994.  A few years after being called to church administration in 1990, I earned a Fellow in Church Business Administration through the NACBA in 1998.  Currently, I am serving as President of the local chapter of CBA’s.  In 2004, I published a small book, “We’re in This Together-Reflections of a Church Business Administrator” through the NACBA Press.

As Business Administrator of FMC-S since 1996, major responsibilities have included annual budgeting and stewardship campaigns, implementation of capital campaigns and related building programs, personnel and strategic planning.  It is a blessing to work with so many great people as we strive together to build His Kingdom.
