I was born and raised in Shreveport. I met the Lord closely my senior year of high school. I went to Louisiana Tech University after graduating and go a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. It was at the Wesley Foundation at Louisiana Tech that I received my call to ministry. This call took me to Duke Divinity School in North Carolina. While in school, I served as solo pastor of several rural churches across the central part of the state. I graduated in May 2022 with a Master of Divinity with certificates in Preaching and Worship. After graduating, my husband, Trevor, and I stayed to serve churches in Eastern North Carolina. It was from there that the Lord called us to come back home and serve in Louisiana. Trevor is the pastor at First Methodist Church in Coushatta. As the Associate Pastor of Adult Christian Formation and Young Adult Ministry, I love combining my gifts of teaching and exhortation to build up Christians in their faith.
