I was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas and came to Shreveport to attend college at Centenary College of Louisiana. There I majored in Youth and Music Ministry and completed my degree in 2009. After 10 years working in youth ministry, I dove into an opportunity here at the church to work in communications. Since 2016 I've been the graphic designer here at FUMC Shreveport. Within the FaithLink Contemporary service, I serve as an assistant with worship planning and I sing on the worship team. It has become a growing passion of mine to offer space for transparent, honest worship. We have an incredible team and congregation whose hearts are on fire for watching God move and breathe into our community. What a treasure to be a part of the Kingdom!

On the evenings and weekends, I am also a part-time photographer with a passion for wedding, portrait, and humanitarian photography. I'm married to an amazing IT expert named Chris, and we have the most adorable toddler on the planet, Chandler. We live in a charming broadmoor home with our two cats named Sam and Izzy.
