FUMC - Faithlink

Welcome to Faithlink! This is the Contemporary Worship Service of First United Methodist Church, Shreveport. If you’re here for the first time, plese fill out the Connect Card to your left and find one of our Ushers, Greeter or Worship Team members so we can welcome you!

what to expect

We worship God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit as One Triune God through the following:

Song—Lift your voices, your hands, and your hearts together in praise. We sing contemporary songs and historic hymns that are rich in theology and declare the majesty of God’s love.

Offering

Giving tithes & thanksgiving offerings are a reflection of our faithful obedience and our gratitude for God’s provision in our lives.

Scripture

We read scripture—lots of it. We strive to be a people of God’s Word, trusting that it is authoritative in leading us to know the story of God, and who we are as the people called by God’s name.

Prayer

We will pray with and for you. Feel free to approach the altar and kneel for prayer. Or fill out the prayer request card in the bulletin and place it the offering, or a basket at the back.

Communion

We celebrate at the table of the Lord on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome to participate in this act of worship and remembrance. Communion is also served each Sunday in Couch Chapel at noon.
